Phu Quoc is also called the Jade Island,
is the largest island of Vietnam, also is the largest island in the 22
islands in this population, located in the Gulf of Thailand. Phu Quoc
island with other islands forming under the Phu Quoc Island Kien Giang
Province. The entire island district has a total area of 589.23 km ²
(according to statistical data of land in 2005), roughly the area of
the island of Singapore. Duong Dong Town, located in the northwest, is
the capital of the island district. Phu Quoc Rach Gia city located 120
km and 45 km from Ha Tien town.
